About Studio 502

From its London base, Studio 502 designs interiors shaped by colour, materiality and a strong sense of place. Founded in 2022 by Andrea Yateem, the award-winning studio works across residential and commercial projects, creating layered, expressive spaces grounded in how they are used.
The studio’s approach is intuitive and process-driven, with close attention to how colour, light and texture interact within a space. Each project develops through ongoing dialogue with clients, craftspeople and specialist makers, allowing the design to respond to context, use and atmosphere rather than a fixed aesthetic.
In residential projects, Studio 502 works closely with clients to create homes that reflect how people actually live — spaces that feel personal, comfortable and characterful. The same approach extends to commercial work, where equal emphasis is placed on the experience of the people who will spend time there. These projects balance practical requirements with a clear visual identity, creating environments that feel engaging rather than generic.
Across all scales, Studio 502’s work is shaped by collaboration, craftsmanship and an interest in creating interiors with lasting relevance.
